A workshop course on communication and writing on contemporary issues. It focuses on genre knowledge, rhetorical knowledge, discourse community knowledge and writing process knowledge. The course will utilize write-to-learn and process-oriented writing strategies as ways to enhance students' ability to articulate course content and to engage in disciplinary writing, research and communication. Prerequisite: 3 units of ANGL.
