Gives students an in-depth understanding of some of the major contemporary theories and approaches to Early Childhood Education, and examines how they can be utilized with young children from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds to enhance their learning. Students will be involved in planning, implementing and documenting integrated curriculum projects in a variety of early childhood settings. Prerequisite: Introductory Field Experience or consent of the Department.
