EDST 503 - Foundations of Curriculum

Provides an introduction to conceptions of curriculum and their effects on pedagogy with particular emphasis on discerning and interpreting how personal, social, cultural, and political circumstances collude in the shaping of educational practices. Prerequisites: Registration in the Master of Education in Educational Studies program, and EDU 511 and EDU 512 or EDST 511 and EDST 512. Students cannot receive credit for both EDU 503 and EDST 503.
