KIN 246A - Coaching Practicum I

Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation

Students will be required to coach for a complete season in a program approved by the student's Mentor Coach. The purpose of the practicum is to provide the student with a practical coaching experience under the guidance of a Program Coach. It is intended to introduce the student to the demands of the profession of coaching. Note: at least 100 hours of outside-classroom time is required. Corequisite: KIN 245. Note: Credit will be granted for only one of KIN 246 or PEDS 246.
