This course takes an interdisciplinary approach to grappling with the complex intersections between law, technology and society. It considers how society shapes and is shaped by technology; what the role of law is and should be with respect to regulating technology¿s creation, use, and effects; and the unique challenges arising for legislators, judges and regulators when confronting issues raised by technology. Specific topics covered may change from year to year.
