An introduction to the physics of the atmosphere with applications: temperature, pressure, humidity, evaporation, condensation, dew, freezing, ice, frost, convection, clouds, rain, hail, rainbows, solar and terrestrial radiation. Development of thermodynamic concepts and tools used by atmospheric scientists in the analysis and forecasting of weather and climate: potential temperatures, psychrometry, thermodynamic diagrams, radiation charts.
