Online and Continuing Education
Provides an introduction to the history, theories, and key concepts relevant for the appropriate administration of access and privacy legislation. Access and privacy concepts and principles are examined using federal, provincial, and municipal legislation. Please note that as of January 1, 2010, there will no longer be a course manual mailed to students. The University of Alberta is dedicated to reducing its environmental footprint and in pursuit of this goal we are eliminating all unnecessary printing. Wherever possible, online sources have been identified for reading materials. All course materials and readings will be made available online via eClass.
