LING 520 - Computational Linguistics

Introduction to computational methods for empirical linguistic analysis and natural language processing. Students will learn selected computational techniques for processing, modeling, analyzing, and generating natural language, and will develop an understanding for the computational properties of natural language. Prerequisites: LING 308, LING 309 or LING 310; or consent of Department. Note: Open to senior undergraduates in Linguistics.
