This course examines the complex and dynamic challenges of leading people in executive and senior management roles. Using an evidence-based and strategic approach, students explore talent acquisition, development, and retention; shaping organizational culture; high-performing team leadership; and effective knowledge exchange. The course also addresses fostering innovation, promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion, and facilitating organizational change. Contemporary topics such as employee well-being, ethical leadership, indigenous perspectives, artificial intelligence, and managing remote or hybrid teams are considered, with a focus on applying frameworks to drive organizational performance and strategic impact.
