An introduction to writing in the sciences as a practice through which core values of scientific research are communicated and sustained. Students analyze and produce research-based multimodal scientific genres for both academic and public audiences. Prerequisites: 3 units in 100-level ENGL or 100-level WRS, or consent of instructor. Note: credit will not be granted for both WRS 103 and WRS 203.
