HGEO 570 - Advanced Geographical Information Systems for Social Science

Provides spatial analytic tools to social geographers and provides a social science perspective to geoprocessing students. Examples arise from marketing, operations research, sociology, and urban and economic geography. Assignments impart technical aspects through hands-on experience with commercial and in-house spatial analysis software. Prerequisite: Consent of Instructor.
