Required of all Honors students. Students will initiate discussion of their essays with the Advisor in the preceding term. In their final year, students will be required to participate in a peer workshop and consult with a faculty member on their essay.

ENGL 102 - Introduction to Critical Analysis

This course covers literary texts, their generic and aesthetic features, and cultural contexts. Taught in English. This course will not fulfill the Language Other than English requirement of the Faculty of Arts. Course may be taken three times when topics vary. Prerequisite: consent of Department.
