Origin of sedimentary materials; sedimentary processes; sedimentary structures, textures, and flow regimes; properties and classification of clastic and non-clastic rocks; sedimentary environments and facies in non-marine, coastal and marine settings; principles of stratigraphy, stratigraphic nomenclature and the stratigraphic column.
