Third year applied clinical program in which clinical education and experience is obtained through supervised management of patients presenting with temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pains and/or sleep-disordered breathing. Prerequisite: DENT 622.

OBIOL 305A - Pathology

1.5 units (fi 6)(TWO TERM, 42 HOURS)

Introduction to the principles of pathology with consideration of the more common diseases affecting the human body. Visual differentiation between normal and abnormal tissues; the physiological and pathological changes which affect the teeth, their supporting structures and the oral mucosa, including oral manifestations of selected systemic disturbances.

DENT 521 - Temporomandibular Disorders, Orofacial Pain and Sleep-Disordered Breathing Clinics II

Clinical education and experience is obtained through supervised management of patients presenting with temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pain and/or sleep-disordered breathing. Prerequisite: DENT 520.
