Glycobiology is the field of science that studies carbohydrates (glycans) that are found in all living systems. We will focus on the role of glycans in a wide range of biological systems. Prerequisites: MICRB 265, and BIOL 201 or CELL 201. Credit may not be obtained for both BIOL 424 and BIOL 524.
