A studio-based course in which projects address the requirements of special user groups and specific markets with special consideration of the production capabilities of western Canada. Computer-aided design and manufacturing will be the focus of at least one project. Prerequisite: DES 403. Corequisite: DES 501 and consent of Department. Note: Not open to students with credit in DES 576.
