EAS 351 - Environmental Applications of Geographic Information Systems

This course emphasizes the diverse applications of geospatial technologies and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to the environmental sciences. Principles and methodologies of data collection, organization, analysis, and visualization are presented and discussed. Labs impart technical experience with different types of GIS platforms. Prerequisites: EAS 221 and one 100-level MATH or STAT course; or consent of instructor.
