An examination of the physical processes influencing global climate. Radiation and energy in the climate system, the hydrological cycle, vertical structure of the atmosphere and ocean, influence of the Earth's rotation, general circulation of the atmosphere and ocean, climate feedback mechanisms, climate history and climate change, introduction to climate models.
