The geologically evolving Earth and its context in an evolving solar system. Topics vary: visit the Earth and Atmospheric Sciences course listing website for details. May be taken more than once for credit provided no topic is repeated. Topics include: (1) Meteorites and Other Planetary Materials; (2) Earth System Evolution; (3) Astrobiology (this topic may not be taken for credit if credit has been obtained in the same BIO 495 or 595 topic).
