This course examines how the Francophone world participates in the construction of technologies (from Minitel to French Start-ups) and in the debates surrounding ethical, economic, political, and environmental issues raised by AI (e.g., techno- capitalism, environmental impact). Prerequisite: FREN 297 or FREN 298 or FREN 300 or consent of the Department.
