Systems of linear equations. Vectors, lines and planes in n-space. Dot product, cross product and orthogonality. Matrices, linear and orthogonal transformations. Orthogonal bases. Gram-Schmidt process. Inner product spaces. Determinants. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Orthogonal diagonalisation. Prerequisite: Mathematics 30-1. Note: Credit can be obtained in at most one of MATH 102, 125, 126 or 127.
