PHARM 564 - Pharmaceutical Toxicology and Applications of Machine Learning

Key concepts include toxicological principles, toxicokinetics, toxic responses, bioactivation of drugs to toxic metabolites, organ directed toxicity, immunotoxicology, and receptor-mediated toxicity. This course delves into specific topics in pharmaceutical toxicology and provides elements for the application of machine learning in some topics. Students will learn how machine learning can be utilized in fundamental, applied, and clinical toxicology. A practical component to provide the foundations and use of machine learning for toxicological investigations will be included. Prerequisite: Consent of Faculty.
