REHAB 570 - Diagnostic Imaging in Physical Therapy Practice

This course is intended to provide students with an overview of diagnostic imaging and how it can be effectively utilized for conditions that are commonly seen in physical therapy practice. Case management strategies, clinical guidelines for ordering and utilizing ionizing and non ionizing imaging modalities, issues of patient safety and risk, and integration of imaging information into physical therapy care will be included. Prerequisite: diploma, undergraduate or graduate degree in Physical Therapy. Note: Registration by consent of the Faculty. Not open to students with credit in PTHER 410.
