EDSE 447 - Advanced Studies in Curriculum and Teaching in Secondary School Physical Education and Wellness

This course further develops Alberta's Physical Education and Wellness (PEW) teaching approaches including topics related to planning, assessment, management, and safety. Students will apply theory from respected PEW scholars and continue to develop strategies for planning a quality PEW program for diverse youth. Prerequisites: EDFX 350, EDSE 347, and 24 units in the Major subject area. Note: Successful completion of the on-campus portion of the Advanced Professional Term is required prior to being granted permission to continue into EDFX 450.
