PSYCH 374 - Psychopharmacology

Examines psychopharmacology of drug abuse, with a focus on drug administration, neurotransmitter systems, and drug actions in the context of commonly used drugs such as alcohol, cannabis, psychedelics, and opioids. Topics span general synaptic transmission, methods, mechanisms of action, and theories of addiction. Note: Not open to students with credit in PMCOL 305 or PSYCH 302 or 403 Topic: Psychopharmacology.
