Beginning with the ancient civilizations of Greece and Rome, the course explores the social, cultural, political, philosophical, religious, and economic factors that have influenced sport, physical education, and attitudes toward the body in various time periods. Note: Credit may be obtained for only one of AUHIS 212 and AUPED 262.
